For or Til?

Prepositions have many meanings and therefore translate poorly between languages. For in English is not always for in Danish – it may be til or i etc. The Danish prepositions for and til each have about fifty different meanings. If you think in English while speaking Danish, you will overuse for. This exercise is therefore focused on the meaning of the English for expressed by til.
